General Provision

  1. Precisely ltd (company number 09690643, incorporated in the UK, registered at Flat 13 Coneybear Point, Peartree Way, London, SE10 0JW), further referred to as the Organizer is the organizer of the Conf42 computer science conferences.
  2. The Terms and Conditions constitute the basis for joining the Conf42 community through the Registration. The Organizer defines the rights and obligations of its Community Members, hereinafter referred as the Participants.
  3. These Terms and Conditions have been published on www.conf42.com and its subpages, hereinafter referred to as the Conf42 Website.



  1. Registration is tantamount to acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by the Participant and constitutes the Participant's obligation to comply with it.
  2. Registration of Participants is made only through the Conf42 Website.


Conditions of participation

  1. The condition of participation in the Conference is registering via the Conf42 Website by the Participant.
  2. Any additional questions should be addressed to mark@conf42.com.
  3. These Terms and Conditions have been published on www.conf42.com and its subpages, hereinafter referred to as the Conf42 Website.



  1. The Participant can unsubscribe from any further communications at any time by sending a message to mark@conf42.com with “Unsubscribe” in the title or clicking an unsubscribe link if present in any communication from the Organizer.


Cancellation of a conference

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel any Conference without specifying a reason. In this event, all the ticket purchases will be refunded. No other costs (flights, hotels, etc) will be refunded by the Organizer.


Responsibilities of the Organizer

  1. The Organizer ensures that it will make every reasonable effort to guarantee the conditions conference organization are as described on the Conf42 Website.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to change the schedule of the Conference in case of emergency, including the order of keynotes, talks and presentations.
  3. Changes to the conference schedule cannot be the basis to address any claims against the Organizer.


Responsibilities of the Participant

  1. The Participant agrees to comply with the requirements of Terms and Conditions.
  2. The Participant agrees that any harassment towards the Organizer or other Participants will result in being removed from the Conference and any future events, as well as being reported to relevant authorities.
  3. The Participant agrees to comply with the conference Code of Conduct.
  4. The Participant agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.


Personal data

  1. The Organizer is the administrator of the Personal Data provided by Participants.
  2. The Organizer stores the following data (as requested in the Registration Form):
    1. First Name
    2. Last Name
    3. Email Address
    4. Job Title / Main interest
    5. Phone Number
    6. Company / University / Community
    7. Country
    8. Any additional information provided by the Participant during registration
  3. The Organizer processes Personal Data in connection with participation of the Participant in the Conference, on the basis of voluntary consent of the Participant, which is necessary to participate in the Conference, in accordance with applicable law.
  4. The Participant has the right to inspect and correct their Personal Data. Providing correct personal data is necessary to take part in the conference.
  5. The Participant’s personal data is processed for the purpose of conducting the Conference, informing the Participant about the future events and for delivering sponsored content.
  6. By registering, the Participant agrees to:
    1. Processing of their personal data in one or more databases to receive communications from the Organizer,
    2. Sharing of their personal data described above by the Organizer with Conference sponsors in order to deliver sponsored content to the Participant and create lead generation and product awareness for the sponsors
  7. The Organizer reserves the right to use an external website in case of main server failure.
  8. The Participant can request to have their data removed from the Organizer’s database at any time by sending a request to mark@conf42.com. The Organizer will remove the data within a maximum of 30 days.


Complaint procedure

  1. Any complaints should be submitted in a written form - by sending them by email to mark@conf42.com.
  2. In the complaint application, regardless of its form, it is necessary to include the following information:
    1. Participant's full name
    2. The reason for submitting a complaint
    3. A detailed description of the complaint event
  3. The Organizer recognizes complaints promptly, however not later than within 30 days from the date of receipt of a proper complaint notification.
  4. The settlement of the complaint application is sent to the Participant's Email Address.


Procedural provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions are available on the Conf42 Website.
  2. In matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the United Kingdom Law and Civil Code will be applied.
  3. These Terms and Conditions enter into force on December 24th 2020.
  4. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions will be made public through posting the updated version on the document on the Conf42 Website.
