Abstract

It has been over five years since we ran out of IPv4 addresses; something we had been warned about for years and years. IPv6 is the promised panacea providing an ‘unlimited’ supply of addresses. In spite of the slow adoption, the real question to ask is what the Tech world looks like with IPv6 starting with comprehension IPv4 versus IPv6. In addition, understand the scarcity crisis, the technical benefits of IPv6 as well as the barriers to its widespread adoption.
